Motability

At ODEL Mobility, we are accredited Motability Dealers, meaning that you can lease a
scooter or powered wheelchair through the Motability Scheme if you are in receipt of one
of the following allowances and have at least 12 months remaining on your award.

• Higher rate mobility component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA)

• War Pensioners Mobility Supplement (WPMS)

• Enhanced rate mobility component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)

• Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP).

The weekly payment is taken from your allowance and the remainder of your allowance is
paid to you.  You will be able to apply for a new scooter or powered wheelchair every 3
years.

The Motability Scheme is a worry-free option, with the following benefits included in the scheme:

• Insurance
• Breakdown assistance and recovery
• Home delivery and collection
• Battery and tyre replacement
• Service, maintenance and repair

All of the scooters and powered wheelchairs that we sell and supply are available on the Motability Scheme.
